in October 2012, shortly after having released Olympia, along with You Can’t Win, Charlie Brown, Márcia, Luís Nunes – who went by Walter Benjamin back then – for a Pataca records evening at Mercado da Ribeira, in Lisbon. everyone sang in everyone else’s concerts, so much so that looking at the photos Vera Marmelo shot that day it isn’t always obvious who the main band is at any given moment.

when she published the photos in her blog, Vera wrote: “I hadn’t seen all of these guys together in a while. It’s always very good.”

last week, Benjamin released a new single, as did noiserv, and I hear Afonso Cabral is also up to something good.
